Tech Lead (Python, JavaScript)

About the roleI am looking for a talented and experienced Full-stack Tech Lead to join an exciting data-driven technical consultancy, who are harnessing the power of data to help businesses make better decisions.This is a fantastic opportunity to be involved in some inspiring Tech for good projects and to work on some complex but rewarding projects. From working on projects that ensure that investment funds are making the right decisions, to working towards building a circular economy. If you want your code to have a real impact on positive causes then this is the role for you.You will be leading a team of data-orientated technical consultants to develop complex technical solutions. A strong engineering background, experience in a fast-paced environment, great people skills and the gravitas to take lead on strategy is required for this role. You should be passionate about what you are building, approachable to more junior members of the team and driven by success.This role will require you to be 80% hands-on, to begin with, however as you grow into the role you will be expected to take on more leadership responsibilities.Experience needed:Strong JavaScript/TypeScript, Python and AWS experience.Good understanding of system design/architecting - Including data engineering and data management.Promoting engineering standards, best practices and testingExperience in building out APIs, Cloud-based ETL pipelines, customer UIs and end-to-end data processing solutionsStakeholder management skillsTech Stack:JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Node, Python, AWS, GraphQL, BaaS, React Native, GCP
