Experteer Overview As a Security Operations Center Analyst at Huntress, you will triage, investigate, and remediate intrusions using in-house security tooling in a 24/7 SOC. You work with a mission-driven, remote-first team protecting customers worldwide from cyber threats. You’ll sharpen your analysis skills daily and contribute to detection and response efforts that scale with our growing endpoint and identity footprint. This role offers a clear path to career progression in a fast-moving security business. Pay / Benefits * Triage, investigate, and respond to alerts from the Huntress platform * Analyze EDR telemetry, logs, and forensic artifacts to identify root causes and propose remediations * Perform tactical malware analysis as part of alert triage * Investigate suspicious Microsoft M365 activity and implement remediations * Assist in escalations from Product Support on threat-related questions * Contribute to detection engineering and tuning efforts * Participate in projects aimed at improving analyst and partner outcomes * Collaborate within a mentored, team-focused environment Tasks * 2+ years in a SOC or DFIR role * Experience with Windows, Linux, and macOS as attack surfaces * Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK, PowerShell, CMD, WMIC, Scheduled Tasks, Windows Domain and host enumeration * Knowledge of static and dynamic malware analysis * Working knowledge of Windows Administration and Active Directory/GPO/Domain Trusts * Core networking concepts and common ports/protocols * Web technologies and OWASP Top 10 * Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills * Customer-focused decision-making and curiosity Key requirements * Remote work * Home office setup allowance * Generous personal leave * Digital monthly reimbursement * Travel to the US for company events * Pension
