We are looking for a API Enablement Lead Location: Sant cugat, Barcelona, Spain, Hybrid (2 - 3 days at onsite) Experience: Years of Experience (Tot/Rel): Total Experience: 10 Years Relevant Experience: Years in Product Ownership, Requirements Analysis, Systems Analysis, or Product Operations Type: Permanent Full Time Role Summary Responsible for shaping incoming business and program demands into clear, well defined, delivery ready work. This role ensures requirements are properly scoped, structured, and understood before they enter engineering execution. This role does not own product vision or roadmap decisions and does not perform solution design. Technical Skills: Strong experience in Requirements Gathering & Analysis Expertise in Jira, Agile Backlog Management, and Epic/Feature Writing Understanding of Integration-heavy Enterprise Systems Experience working with Cross-functional Teams including Business, Architecture, and Engineering Strong knowledge of Agile / Scrum methodologies Ability to define Acceptance Criteria, Scope, Assumptions, and Dependencies Strong stakeholder management and communication skills Roles & Responsibilities: Own intake and shaping of requirements from business and program stakeholders Translate high-level business asks into well-defined Jira epics and features Define scope, assumptions, acceptance criteria, and non-goals clearly Ensure requirements are delivery-ready before entering engineering execution Collaborate with architects and engineering teams to validate feasibility Maintain alignment between business intent and platform backlog Identify ambiguities early and drive requirement clarity across stakeholders Support large-scale programs involving multiple business and technology teams Ensure backlog items are structured, prioritized, and actionable for engineering teams Good to have / Must to have skills: Must Have Strong background in Requirements Analysis, Systems Analysis, or Product Operations Hands-on experience writing Jira epics, features, and acceptance criteria Experience working with large enterprise programs and multiple stakeholders Strong analytical thinking and ambiguity resolution skills Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities Good to Have Exposure to enterprise integration platforms and digital transformation programs Experience working in Agile product delivery environments Familiarity with SDLC, APIs, and platform modernization initiatives Exposure to SAFe or scaled Agile frameworks Qualification & Certification (If any): Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field MBA or Product Management certification is an added advantage Agile / Scrum certifications such as CSPO, SAFe POPM, or Scrum Product Owner preferred Ready to Take the Next Step?
