Data Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer with strong Data Modelling experience to join an international data team. This role is focused on designing scalable and high-quality data models that support operational systems, analytics and enterprise data initiatives. You will work closely with business stakeholders, Data Engineers and Architects to ensure data structures are well designed, documented and aligned with business requirements. Responsibilities - Design conceptual, logical and physical data models. - Translate business requirements into scalable data structures. - Define and maintain data models for Data Warehouses and modern cloud platforms. - Collaborate with Data Engineers to ensure models are correctly implemented. - Maintain data dictionaries, metadata and documentation. - Support Data Governance and Data Quality initiatives. - Review existing database structures and identify improvement opportunities. - Work with business stakeholders to understand reporting and analytical requirements. Requirements - 5+ years of experience working in Data Engineering, Data Modelling or Database Design. - Strong experience with conceptual, logical and physical data modelling. - Excellent SQL skills. - Experience designing Data Warehouse solutions. - Knowledge of dimensional modelling (Star Schema / Snowflake Schema). - Experience with relational databases such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle or MySQL. - Experience working in Azure or GCP environments. - Strong communication skills and experience working with business stakeholders.
