Systems Engineer (Comm & Networks Sys Engrg)

Experteer Overview In this role you will advance the E-7A AEW&C program by evaluating and integrating complex communications subsystems across the platform. You’ll collaborate with multi-discipline design engineers to drive end-to-end performance assessments and select robust solutions that meet mission needs. The role combines architecture optimization, risk and requirements management, and cross-functional problem solving to ensure mission success on onsite teams in Tukwila, WA. Compensation / Benefits * Plan, design, develop and verify communications subsystems integrated with the E-7A system * Define system performance requirements from customer needs and ensure interface compatibility * Perform performance analyses to optimize architecture and propose configurations * Provide end-to-end system understanding across hardware, software, transport and network layers * Oversee cross-functional analyses including safety, reliability, maintainability, security, regulatory and product assurance * Develop and improve requirements management, risk, issues, opportunity, and technology readiness processes * Resolve cross-functional technical issues between subsystems, sensors and size, weight, and power constraints Tasks * Active U.S. Secret Clearance * Bachelor of Science in Engineering/Engineering Technology/Computer Science/Data Science/Mathematics/Physics/Chemistry * 9+ years related work experience (Level 4) * 3+ years in communications systems * Onsite work in Tukwila, WA * U.S. citizenship Key requirements * health insurance * flexible spending accounts * health savings accounts * retirement savings plans * life and disability insurance * paid time away
