ADC Engineer I, AWS ADC Monitoring & Observability

Experteer Overview In this role you help operate and improve CloudWatch Monitoring and CloudWatch Logs in specialized regions, contributing to reliable, scalable cloud services. You will work with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues, automate tasks, and enhance service efficiency for customers. You’ll dive into data to uncover root causes and implement improvements that boost performance and availability. Compensation / Benefits * Analyze projects to define milestones and success criteria * Identify defects or lack of high availability and investigate patterns * Resolve, mitigate, or escalate operational issues in a timely manner * Support operational stability of CloudWatch and CloudWatch Logs in ADC environments * Investigate root causes of customer issues impacting CloudWatch visibility * Analyze metric trends for performance and capacity concerns * Collaborate on automation opportunities for routine tasks * Participate in on-call rotations and respond to alerts and issues * Dive into logs and metrics to understand system behavior and dependencies * Discuss and implement improvements to team operational processes Tasks * 1+ years Linux systems administration experience * 1+ years technical troubleshooting / support experience * 1+ years networking experience * Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret with SCI eligibility or above * Experience with cloud computing technologies (preferred) * Experience with distributed systems at scale (preferred) * Experience with service-oriented architecture and web services (preferred) * Experience with systems administration on Linux/UNIX or Windows (preferred) Key requirements * health insurance * 401(k) matching * paid time off * sign-on payments and RSUs * parental leave * flexible working culture
