Experteer Overview As a Lead Software Engineer in JPMorgan Chase’s Consumer & Community Banking team, you will drive design, development, and secure delivery of scalable tech products. You act as a core technical contributor across multiple domains, shaping architecture and improving operational stability. You’ll lead communities of practice and collaborate with vendors and internal teams to advance trusted banking tech. This role blends hands-on coding with strategic technical leadership to enable enterprise-scale outcomes. Compensation / Benefits * Develop secure, production-grade software and perform code reviews * Troubleshoot complex technical problems and design creative solutions * Identify and automate recurring issues to boost stability * Lead architectural evaluation sessions with vendors and internal teams * Lead communities of practice to disseminate new technologies * Foster a culture of diversity, inclusion, and respect within the team Tasks * 10+ years of deep technical experience building enterprise applications * Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability * Proficiency in Java or Python * Automation and continuous delivery (CD) expertise * Full SDLC proficiency and strong agile practices (CI/CD, security, resiliency) * Experience with cloud, AI/ML, mobile, or related technical disciplines * Practical cloud-native experience * Knowledge of the financial services IT landscape * Experience with public cloud (AWS preferred) is a plus * Generative AI tool familiarity (e.g., Copilot, Claude) is a plus Key requirements *
