Experteer Overview In this role you will drive governance, risk and compliance for LLNL’s cyber program. You will shape and implement controls across complex systems to safeguard digital assets within a fast-paced, collaboration-heavy IT environment. You will partner with business analysts, process owners, and architects to align requirements with GRC capabilities and ensure accreditation remains intact. The position offers hybrid work and opportunities to impact national security through rigorous security practices and modern tooling. Compensation / Benefits * Participate in information assurance programs to ensure processes meet requirements and regulations * Plan, design and implement controls using various software tools to secure data and maintain compliance with security frameworks * Support security governance deployments and configurations * Provide GRC guidance and interpret regulations, risks, and best practices * Connect business requirements with GRC platform capabilities and verify system configurations for accreditation * Stay current with evolving regulations and industry trends * Perform other duties as assigned * Manage parallel tasks and priorities, ensuring deadlines * Provide solutions to moderately complex problems using analytical factors Tasks * U.S. DOE Q-level security clearance and U.S. citizenship * Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of technical training and experience * Experience in Information Security with knowledge of information systems and modern technologies * Experience with data platforms analyzing machine-generated big data (log/event data) * Experience with hybrid cloud infrastructures * Knowledge of cyber tools for auditing, compliance, vulnerability testing, and monitoring * Ability to prioritize and solve complex problems in a fast-paced engineering environment * Strong verbal/written communication for collaboration and documentation Key requirements * Flexible Benefits Package * 401(k) * Relocation Assistance * Education Reimbursement Program * Flexible schedules (depending on project needs)
