- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend solutions using Salesforce technologies.
- Develop and enhance:
- Apex Classes
- Apex Triggers
- Batch Apex
- Queueable Jobs
- Scheduled Jobs
- Translate business and technical requirements into robust application functionality.
- Follow Salesforce development best practices and coding standards.
Collaborate Across Teams
- Partner with Salesforce Administrators, Developers, QA Engineers, Architects, and Technical Leads.
- Participate in solution design discussions, sprint planning, estimations, and requirement refinement sessions.
- Contribute to architecture discussions and implementation strategies.
Optimize Performance
- Design solutions that efficiently operate within Salesforce governor limits.
- Improve platform performance through optimized:
- SOQL/SOSL queries
- Transaction management
- Asynchronous processing
- Refactor legacy code and continuously improve application scalability and maintainability.
Ensure Quality & Reliability
- Develop and maintain Apex test classes with strong code coverage.
- Perform unit testing and sprint-level validation before QA handoff.
- Participate in code reviews and technical improvement initiatives.
- Support QA teams with troubleshooting, defect analysis, and test validation.
Support Integrations
- Build and maintain REST API integrations.
- Manage Postman collections and API documentation.
- Troubleshoot integration issues and provide backend support for connected systems.
Manage Source Control & Deployments
- Use Git for source control, branching, and code management.
- Support deployments across multiple environments.
- Participate in release planning and deployment activities.
Drive Continuous Improvement
- Stay current with Salesforce releases, features, and development trends.
- Help improve development standards, engineering practices, and team efficiency.
- Build secure, extensible, and future-ready solutions.
Requirements
Technical Skills
- Strong experience with Salesforce Apex
- Expertise in Salesforce Triggers
- Proficiency with SOQL/SOSL
- Experience with Asynchronous Processing (Batch, Queueable, Scheduled Jobs)
- Strong understanding of the Salesforce Data Model
- Experience developing and consuming REST APIs
- Hands-on experience with Postman
- Proficiency with Git and Version Control
- Strong debugging and log analysis skills
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Professional experience developing backend solutions on the Salesforce platform using Apex and related technologies., * Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of scalable backend architecture principles.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Experience supporting enterprise-level Salesforce implementations.
