Job description
In this highly visible role as a cloud-focused Technical Program Manager you will:
- Review and approve security monitoring solutions and procedures/documentation for tenants hosted on AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure, and possibly other IaaS platforms as well.
- Engage cross functional teams to assist in and ensure ID&R monitoring tool adoption. Query data sources (Splunk, wiz.io, mySQL database) to confirm logs are available.
- Assist clients addressing technical problems arising during solution deployment. Example: host agent installation and setup in tenant environment.
- Create, manage, provision access of client cloud dashboards
- Learn quickly on the job as ID&R tackles security solutions for IaaS platforms that may be new to you and others on the team
- Bring architectural solutions to the leadership team, solicit feedback on solutions recommended, new product ideas with the team through design review and tech talk.
- Document solutions clearly and thoroughly and use that to train others on the team, including production support personnel
- Manage project schedules, identify possible issues, and clearly communicate them to project stakeholders.
- Take responsibility for release schedules and milestones, keeping up a high velocity in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Knowledge of Application/IaaS Platform/Cloud security best practices and implementation.
- Experience with AWS services & features like S3, Lambda, EC2, RDS, DynamoDB, CloudTrail, CloudWatch, VPC Flow logging.
- Experience with other Cloud Providers including, Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform), Azure, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), etc.
- Experience with SQL, programming, scripting, etc
- Strong experience and skills with Microsoft Excel
- Experience with Linux/UNIX systems and the best practices for deploying applications to those stacks.
- Broad knowledge of enterprise IT and/or cloud SaaS markets and products.
- Experience with cloud microservices, APIs (developer experience), distributed systems, and UI/UX.
- Experience with Tableau or similar dashboard applications.
- Knowledge of DevOps and Continuous Delivery concepts, experience preferred.
- Ability to learn quickly on the job when introduced to new technologies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent client relationship management skills.
- Strong oral, written, and presentation communication skills.
- Strong project, time management, and team collaboration skills.
- Experience working with engineering, sales and marketing teams in cloud computing or related technical fields.
- A plnice-to-have: Experience with data visualization ability to transform data into intelligence., * 3-5 years of industry experience with technical subjects and emerging technologies in cloud computing or related technical fields, and their relevance to the marketplace.
- 3-5 years Project/Program Management experience in cloud environments.
- 3-5 years working directly with internal/external cloud customers.
