Job description
You will play a critical role in supporting the enterprise infrastructure capabilities for a global, mission-focused workforce. This position supports the high-visibility Enterprise Infrastructure Services (EIS) organization, responsible for the delivery and security of MPO?s Enterprise Information Technology (EIT), the foundation for enterprise-wide services. As a Windows/Linux Systems Administrator, you will work alongside customers, Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), and vendors to support the implementation and compliance of advanced EIT capabilities., * Provide support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for all the client/server/network devices.
- Manages IT system infrastructure, configuration, operation, and any processes related to the Windows and Linux systems.
- Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, and diagnosis.
- Provides support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers.
Requirements
- Bachelor?s degree in a technical discipline with 10 years? experience as a Systems Administrator OR five 5 additional years? experience as a Systems Administrator may be substituted for a bachelor?s degree.
- Experience with Windows 11
- Linux experience with Ubuntu or Fedora
- Networking experience with Juniper
- Experience with DNS, DHCP, Active Directory including Group Policy, Remote Desktop Services, and Hyper-V
- Experience with PowerShell scripting, * Experience with Cisco and Dell networking systems
- Ability to upgrade code on Cisco and Juniper switches
- Strong Windows and Linux troubleshooting skills with hardware and software issues
- HP Device Manager (understanding of RMM tools would be sufficient)
- Experience with Splunk, Zabbix, Syslog-ng
Clearance Requirements:
- Must possess and maintain a current/active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time
- Occasionally moves about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
- Frequently communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, including delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
