Job description

Experteer Overview As a Network Contracting Manager, you will shape strategic contracting for MA and RI, partnering with cross-functional teams to optimize provider networks. You will lead complex, value-based negotiations and build strong provider relationships to support growth and cost quality goals. Your work will influence network strategy, reimbursement models, and analytics to drive responsible outcomes. This role offers the chance to impact patient access and financial performance within a matrix-oriented, fast-paced environment. Compensation / Benefits * Handle complex FFS and value-based contracting with large physician groups, ancillaries, and hospitals * Lead market contracting strategy projects and manage direct reports as assigned * Develop and maintain provider relationships to support network growth and value-based opportunities * Coordinate with Claims, Medical Management, Credentialing to ensure aligned execution * Identify value-oriented and risk-based opportunities and contribute to analytics and alternative network initiatives * Work toward unit cost targets while maintaining a competitive provider network * Design initiatives to improve medical cost and quality using clinical informatics insights * Assess financial impact of large/complex contracts and alternative terms * Create and ensure accuracy of HCP agreements through cross-functional collaboration * Resolve escalated provider issues and manage relationships with knowledge of the local market Tasks * 3+ years in healthcare provider contracting and negotiating with complex physician groups and ancillaries * Background in managed care, healthcare, or health insurance including commercial contracting * Proven leadership experience, mentoring others * Strong provider relationship management and long-term partnership development * Knowledge of complex reimbursement methodologies; incentive-based models strongly preferred * Understanding of hospital, managed care, and provider business models with ability to influence sales * Excellent presentation and communication skills; ability to build internal relationships in a fast-paced, matrixed environment * Customer-centric approach with strong interpersonal skills and adaptability to change * Strong problem-solving, decision-making, negotiation, contract interpretation, and financial analysis skills * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Key requirements * medical, vision, dental * well-being and behavioral health programs * 401(k) * life insurance * tuition reimbursement * paid time off and paid holidays
