Senior Data Scientist

Experteer Overview In this role you design, build, and govern enterprise-scale AI solutions, embedding Responsible AI principles across clients. You will translate regulatory requirements into practical governance and operating models, shaping AI strategy, risk management, and deployment. You will lead cross-functional delivery, advise executives, and contribute to Accenture’s perspectives on AI governance and policy. Compensation / Benefits * Identify and prioritize high-value AI opportunities with cross-functional teams * Translate business problems into analytics, AI, and decision-science problem statements * Design and deploy supervised/unsupervised models and ML pipelines * Develop and evaluate deep-learning, NLP, and computer vision solutions * Create generative AI and agentic AI applications with governance guardrails * Establish AI governance operating models, controls, and assurance processes * Monitor model performance, bias, drift, and safety; ensure production observability * Advise on AI regulation, standards, and regulatory guidance to clients * Lead multidisciplinary delivery teams and manage client workstreams * Mentor data scientists and contribute to reusable frameworks * Engage with regulators, industry bodies, and ecosystem partners * Develop and present Accenture perspectives, accelerators, and thought leadership * Travel as needed (0-100%) Tasks * 6+ years of relevant experience across data science, AI, Responsible AI, or technology consulting * Bachelor’s or Master’s in quantitative/technical discipline * Strong problem-solving with probability, statistics, experimental design, optimization * Proficiency in Python and libraries (pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow, XGBoost) * Experience deploying ML models in production and monitoring * Hands-on experience with generative AI, LLMs, embeddings, retrieval-augmented generation, evaluation * Experience with structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data * Strong SQL and experience with data platforms, cloud platforms, and distributed processing * Understanding of software engineering practices (APIs, version control, testing, containers, CI/CD, observability) * Experience with AI governance, risk, privacy, security, or regulatory compliance * Knowledge of AI policy, standards, regulation, or assurance approaches * Ability to translate regulatory/ethical requirements into governance processes and tech requirements * Strong client-facing consulting, communication, and stakeholder management * Experience leading multidisciplinary projects and solving complex problems Key requirements * medical, dental, vision, life, and long-term disability coverage * 401(k) plan * bonus opportunities * paid holidays * paid time off
