Job description

Experteer Overview As a Principal Data Scientist in the Mission Systems sector, you lead data execution initiatives that enable strategic analytics and decision-making. You will design data architectures, build pipelines, and deploy dashboards to inform leaders and cross-functional teams. You collaborate with ELT, program and functional leaders to translate analytics needs into scalable solutions. This role offers high-impact work shaping sector performance and data-driven decisions across multiple sites. Compensation / Benefits * Plan, design, develop, and implement data-driven solutions to improve business performance * Work in an Agile/Scrum environment focused on stakeholder outcomes * Collaborate with cross-sector teams to define analytics and data modeling requirements * Architect and build data pipelines connecting multiple systems and tools * Develop and publish Tableau dashboards and visualizations for executives and leaders * Support multi-project data cleanup, ingestion, and data linking tasks * Document design, deployment, and operating procedures for each work product * Present data insights to executive management * Other duties as assigned Tasks * Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience in building data workflows or Master’s degree with 3+ years * Experience with SQL for data ingestion, processing, storage, and analysis * Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or Excel) * US Citizenship * Ability to obtain a government Secret clearance Key requirements * health insurance * life and disability insurance * savings plan * company paid holidays * paid time off (PTO) * bonuses may be available
