Principal Systems Administrator Lead, 100% onsite, Tucson, Arizona, must have active secret clearance

Experteer Overview In this onsite role, you will lead secure IT infrastructure efforts for classified programs within Raytheon’s Digital Technology organization, collaborating with Workplace Services to design and sustain cost-efficient environments. You’ll tackle complex IT challenges across Windows and Linux, coordinate with cybersecurity, and guide end-to-end solutions that meet stringent DoD requirements. The position offers impact on national defense programs and opportunities to shape enterprise-scale IT operations. Compensation / Benefits * Provide IT systems administration in Windows and Red Hat Enterprise Linux environments * Manage Windows Server internals: DNS, DHCP, AD, and replication methods * Collaborate in a fast-paced team to troubleshoot moderate-to-high complexity IT issues including hardware/OS integration * Oversee data RAID and backups; install and configure software per end-user requests * Coordinate with Cybersecurity to maintain security requirements and document IT processes * Aim to obtain DoDD 8140/8570 certification (CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent) within 6 months * Support 24x7 operations with occasional after-hours work; travel up to 5% to other US locations * Operate 100% onsite and contribute to end-to-end IT solutions for classified programs Tasks * Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of relevant experience or Master’s degree with 3+ years * Active and transferable Secret U.S. government security clearance; U.S. citizenship status required * Experience with Windows or Linux environments * Experience in Linux/RHEL administration, Active Directory/Windows Domain administration, MECM, VMware, and recovery enterprise suites Key requirements * medical * dental * vision * 401(k) match * flexible work schedules * paid time off
