Solutions Engineer

Experteer Overview In this role you will bridge business and technical teams to design and deliver cloud-first, API-driven banking solutions. You will help modernize and integrate enterprise systems, working with architects, vendors, and engineering teams to drive strategic technology initiatives. You’ll translate business needs into actionable roadmaps, evaluate technical tradeoffs, and mentor others while staying current on cloud and integration trends. This is a high-visibility, collaborative opportunity to influence enterprise technology strategy in a financial services environment. Compensation / Benefits * Serve as the primary technical liaison between business partners, vendors, and internal technology teams * Lead discovery sessions and translate business objectives into technical solutions and implementation roadmaps * Analyze complex technical and operational challenges, identify root causes, and propose scalable solutions * Design and document enterprise integration solutions leveraging APIs, middleware, cloud-native services, and modern architectural patterns * Evaluate impact of proposed solutions across systems, data flows, and business processes * Assess vendor platforms, technical capabilities, and architecture for alignment with standards and long-term strategy * Identify modernization opportunities for legacy and on-premises applications * Collaborate with Architecture, Infrastructure, Security, and Development teams to ensure compliance and security requirements * Support vendor selection and RFP processes by evaluating technical fit and viability * Present technical recommendations, tradeoffs, and strategies to technical and executive stakeholders * Mentor junior team members and promote best practices in solution design and cloud technologies * Stay current on emerging technologies including cloud platforms, integration technologies, and AI-driven solutions Tasks * 7+ years of experience in software engineering, solution architecture, or related technical roles * Proven experience designing and implementing modern cloud-based solutions on Azure or AWS * Experience integrating enterprise applications via APIs, middleware, and modern integration patterns * Experience migrating or modernizing legacy/on-premises systems * Strong understanding of SDLC, design patterns, testing methodologies, and code quality * Experience mentoring technical team members and providing technical leadership Key requirements * Medical, dental & vision * 401(k) retirement plan with pre-tax and Roth options * Life insurance and AD&D * Short and long-term disability * Health Spending Account (HSA) * Paid time off / leave
