SAP Aerospace & Defense- Solution Architect

Experteer Overview In this role you will lead and shape SAP-based transformations for aerospace and defense clients, steering end-to-end SAP S/4HANA solutions across PMMO, PS, MM, QM, EWM, FI/CO and manufacturing processes. You will engage with stakeholders to define operating models and roadmaps, drive large global programs, and ensure compliant, cost-aware, and digitally transformed operations. You’ll combine SaaS and non-SaaS capabilities to deliver scalable, multi-platform architectures. This is a strategic advisory and hands-on architecture leadership role with a strong impact on client outcomes and Capgemini’s transformation agenda. Compensation / Benefits * Lead SAP Solution Architecture for aerospace & defense and project manufacturing programs * Design integrated SAP S/4HANA solutions across PMMO, PS, PP, QM, MM, EWM, FI/CO * Run workshops with client stakeholders to define future-state models and roadmaps * Drive PMMO and legacy GPD implementation to support project-based manufacturing and cost control * Define end-to-end Make-to-Order, Make-to-Project, and Engineer-to-Order processes * Provide expertise in product costing, project cost control, profitability analytics, and FI/CO integration * Ensure QM supports aerospace compliance and supplier quality * Lead governance, architecture reviews, and program-level decision making * Collaborate with cross-functional teams and executives to deliver global SAP transformations Tasks * 15+ years of SAP consulting experience in Aerospace & Defense or related regulated manufacturing * 5+ full lifecycle SAP S/4HANA implementations, including at least 2 in A&D or project-based manufacturing * Deep expertise in SAP PMMO and legacy GPD * Strong hands-on SAP PS experience (planning, WBS, cost collection, revenue recognition, settlement) * Knowledge of MTO/MTP/ETO manufacturing processes * Expertise in product costing, project cost control, profitability analysis, FI/CO integration * Experience implementing SAP QM in complex manufacturing environments * Proven ability to design enterprise-wide SAP solutions across manufacturing, supply chain, warehousing, quality, and finance * Strong client-facing consulting, architecture, and stakeholder communication * Demonstrated success in leading design workshops and large-scale transformations Key requirements * Vacation 12-25 days * Company paid holidays * Medical, dental, and vision coverage * Retirement savings plans * Life and disability insurance * Employee assistance programs
