Senior Data Analyst - Payment Integrity Operations - Remote

Compensation / Benefits * Analyze large structured healthcare datasets using SQL to identify trends and opportunities for Payment Integrity * Design and maintain production queries, data extracts, reports, dashboards, and KPI frameworks * Conduct root-cause analyses on escalated issues and provide actionable recommendations * Gather requirements from business stakeholders and translate them into analytical solutions * Support operational initiatives via exploratory data analysis to identify risks and improvement opportunities * Collaborate with internal/external partners on data sourcing, validation, integration, and delivery of analytics programs * Develop understanding of healthcare operations, payment integrity programs, and regulatory requirements to ensure accurate reporting * Monitor data quality, algorithm performance, and market outcomes, offering insights for quality improvement * Communicate findings and strategic recommendations to diverse audiences through executive-ready reporting * Support implementation, adoption, and change management with ongoing analytics expertise and stakeholder education * Work independently to prioritize initiatives and deliver timely insights across multiple lines of business * Collaborate with technical teams to understand data models and ensure outputs are scalable and sustainable Tasks * 5+ years of experience in analyzing healthcare claims, payment, and performance data in healthcare or managed care * 5+ years of business and technical data analysis experience supporting strategic decisions * Experience with Payment Integrity, claims payment accuracy, provider reimbursement, or related initiatives * Experience with data validation, reconciliation, reporting, dashboards, KPI measurement, and large-scale healthcare data analysis * Advanced SQL skills for developing and optimizing complex queries across multi-source datasets * Advanced Excel proficiency for data analysis, modeling, validation, and reporting * Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities with root-cause analysis * Proven ability to translate business needs into analytical solutions and drive investigations independently * Effective collaboration and communication with diverse stakeholders including presenting findings to non-technical audiences Key requirements * comprehensive benefits package * incentive and recognition programs * equity stock purchase * 401(k) contribution * telecommuter policy * career development opportunities
