Requirements

  • 10+ years of recent experience in Data Architecture, Data Engineering, Database Architecture, or a related field.
  • Strong hands-on expertise with Snowflake and PostgreSQL administration, architecture, and performance tuning.
  • Strong scripting and automation skills using Python, Ansible, or similar technologies.
  • Strong understanding of cloud-based data architectures and data warehousing platforms.
  • Experience with Snowflake architecture, design patterns, migration strategies, and migration workflows.
  • Proven experience architecting and delivering large-scale enterprise data warehouse, data modeling, and reporting solutions.
  • Bachelor’’s degree from an accredited college or university required; Master’’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline preferred.
  • Strong expertise in cloud-native data ecosystems involving platforms such as: o Snowflake o Databricks o Talend o Apache Spark o Power BI o Microsoft Fabric

  • Deep knowledge of structured and unstructured data architecture, processing, and modeling.
  • Experience designing solutions incorporating RAG and vector search, including Azure AI Search or similar technologies.
  • Experience with transactional processing and AI/ML applications.
  • Demonstrated experience defining data governance policies, architectural principles, technology standards, data quality, and validation frameworks.
  • Experience working within large-scale, regulated, Agile SDLC environments.
  • Strong understanding of high availability, disaster recovery, security, compliance, and performance optimization.
