Requirements

10+ years of recent experience in Data Architecture, Data Engineering, Database Architecture, or a related field.
Strong hands-on expertise with Snowflake and PostgreSQL administration, architecture, and performance tuning.
Strong scripting and automation skills using Python, Ansible, or similar technologies.
Strong understanding of cloud-based data architectures and data warehousing platforms.
Experience with Snowflake architecture, design patterns, migration strategies, and migration workflows.
Proven experience architecting and delivering large-scale enterprise data warehouse, data modeling, and reporting solutions.
Bachelor’’s degree from an accredited college or university required; Master’’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline preferred.
Strong expertise in cloud-native data ecosystems involving platforms such as: o Snowflake o Databricks o Talend o Apache Spark o Power BI o Microsoft Fabric
Deep knowledge of structured and unstructured data architecture, processing, and modeling.
Experience designing solutions incorporating RAG and vector search, including Azure AI Search or similar technologies.
Experience with transactional processing and AI/ML applications.
Demonstrated experience defining data governance policies, architectural principles, technology standards, data quality, and validation frameworks.
Experience working within large-scale, regulated, Agile SDLC environments.
Strong understanding of high availability, disaster recovery, security, compliance, and performance optimization.
