Job description

We are seeking an experienced Python Developer with 10+ years of experience in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining scalable software applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Python, API development, databases, cloud technologies, and modern software development practices., * Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable applications using Python.

  • Develop RESTful APIs and microservices using Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and cross-functional teams to understand requirements.
  • Develop efficient and reusable code following industry best practices.
  • Integrate applications with databases, third-party APIs, and external services.
  • Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Write unit and integration tests and participate in code reviews.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application and production issues.
  • Work with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of professional software development experience.
  • Strong proficiency in Python.
  • Hands-on experience with Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
  • Strong experience developing REST APIs and microservices.
  • Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server.
  • Knowledge of NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, DynamoDB, or Redis.
  • Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab, or Azure DevOps.
  • Strong knowledge of Git, Linux, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Experience with unit testing frameworks such as PyTest or unittest.
  • Strong understanding of software design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, or other messaging systems.
  • Knowledge of Celery and asynchronous programming.
  • Experience working with cloud-native and distributed applications.
  • Familiarity with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools.
  • Knowledge of AI/ML or data engineering concepts is a plus., * Bachelor’’s or Master’’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
