Job description

Randstad is seeking a skilled Technical Integration Specialist to support a major enterprise client in Washington, DC, leading the design and delivery of bi-directional API integrations connecting an Integrated Workplace Management System (IWMS) with SAP (Finance & HR) and ArcGIS. Operating within an AWS middleware environment, you will collaborate with business stakeholders and internal IT teams to define requirements, author technical design specs, and build cloud-native integration pipelines-supporting current SAP ECC/SuccessFactors workflows while engineering flexible architecture for a future transition to SAP S/4HANA., API Development & Integration: Design, build, and maintain bi-directional, real-time API connections between IWMS platforms, SAP, and ArcGIS using AWS cloud middleware (API Gateway, Lambda, EventBridge).

Requirements Gathering: Partner with internal business units, facilities, finance, and IT teams to translate complex business processes into technical integration specs and data mappings.

Technical Documentation: Author end-to-end documentation, including Functional Design Documents (FDD), Technical Design Documents (TDD), data flow diagrams, and API specifications.

Testing & Delivery: Establish integration testing strategies, write test scenarios, set up error handling, and lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with stakeholders.

Future-State Planning: Structure current SAP ECC and SuccessFactors integration patterns to ensure a smooth, low-friction migration to SAP S/4HANA down the road.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in enterprise software integration, API architecture, and cloud middleware engineering.

Proven background building bi-directional integrations with SAP modules (SAP FI/CO, SuccessFactors, ECC, or S/4HANA).

Hands-on experience developing integration workflows within AWS services (Lambda, API Gateway, SQS/SNS, EventBridge).

Strong proficiency with RESTful APIs, SOAP web services, JSON, XML, and webhooks.

Demonstrated experience writing comprehensive technical design documentation (FDD/TDD) and mapping enterprise data flows.

Preferred: Exposure to IWMS platforms (e.g., Planon, TRIRIGA, Archibus, ServiceNow Facilities) or GIS spatial platforms (ArcGIS).
