Consultant - Compliance Data Science & AI

Experteer Overview In this role you will apply data science and GenAI to help clients manage risk, compliance, and regulatory challenges. You’ll collaborate with client teams and Sia’s Data Science units to define data needs, build analytics and AI solutions, and support strategic decision making. The work spans predictive analytics, data engineering, and GenAI-powered applications aligned with regulatory requirements. You will operate in a fast-paced, collaborative environment that values impact and practical delivery. Compensation / Benefits * Partner with client leadership, engineers, program managers, and data analysts to understand data needs * Identify, acquire, process, and explore relevant data sources * Analyze large structured and unstructured data to uncover trends and patterns * Leverage data analytics to derive insights, build predictive models and ML algorithms * Design, build, and deploy LLM-based systems (GPT, Claude, Gemini, Llama, Mistral) * Develop GenAI-powered applications (self-managed and API-based) compliant with GDPR, EU AI Act and licenses * Design prompting strategies to improve reliability and control * Communicate insights via dashboards, datasets, and bots at scale * Propose solutions and strategies to business challenges * Collaborate with engineering and product teams * Deliver models, datasets, tools, and processes across partners and projects * Contribute to internal offerings, training, and publication activities * Support business development by helping define client needs and participating in sales Tasks * Master’s degree or Engineering degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related quantitative field * 2+ years of experience as a Data Scientist or Data Analyst * Strong programming skills in Python and SQL * Proficiency in at least one GenAI framework (LangChain, LlamaIndex, etc.) * Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) * Knowledge of proprietary and open-source model ecosystems (OpenAI, Anthropic, Mistral AI, Hugging Face) * Excellent communication skills to explain complex concepts clearly Key requirements * Medical, dental and vision insurance * Company-sponsored life and AD&D; voluntary insurance and EAP * 401(k) with company match and immediate vesting * HSA and FSA options * College savings and student loan repayment * Paid parental leave; generous PTO; holidays; floating holiday
