Job description

  • Own reliability and operational health of the Quartz platform across Global Markets.
  • Build and enhance internal tools to improve observability, diagnostics, and support workflows.
  • Develop automation for infrastructure operations, CI/CD, and configuration management.
  • Lead and participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and post-incident reviews.
  • Partner with Quartz core teams on platform modernization and cloud migration initiatives.
  • Harden production systems, reduce operational risk, and improve performance and scalability.
  • Implement and optimize monitoring, logging, and tracing using Dynatrace and OpenTelemetry.

Requirements

We are seeking a Senior Python Site Reliability / Platform Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Python, Django, REST APIs, MySQL, Linux, cloud platforms, and observability and a proven ability to improve platform reliability, enhance observability, automate operations, and drive incident response effectiveness., * Strong Python development experience, including Django and REST API development.

  • Proficiency with MySQL and database schema design, tuning, and troubleshooting.
  • Deep Linux administration and troubleshooting skills in large-scale production environments.
  • Infrastructure engineering and automation background with Ansible and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Observability and monitoring experience with Dynatrace.
  • Knowledge of SRE and DevOps practices, including SLIs/SLOs, error budgets, and reliability patterns.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Azure and/or AWS, cloud migrations, and Infrastructure-as-Code frameworks.
  • Experience with OpenTelemetry and modern observability stacks.
  • Financial services or trading platform background.
