Senior Software Engineer (SRE)

Experteer Overview In this Senior Software Engineer role, you will design and build SRE platform systems powered by AI, serving as a product used by multiple engineering teams. You will own end-to-end delivery from design to adoption, including integrations and postmortems to minimize customer impact. You’ll drive availability, scalability, and performance, embedding best practices into the systems you ship. You will onboard other teams and iterate quickly based on user feedback, focusing on outcomes over outputs. This is a high-impact, cross-team engineering role at UiPath’s Site Reliability organization. Compensation / Benefits * Design, engineer, and build SRE platform systems with AI, treating them as products used by other teams * Participate in livesite monitoring rotations, handle escalations, and drive postmortems to reduce customer impact * Drive availability, scalability, and performance improvements based on live data * Embed best practices into systems and ensure reliability, scalability, quality, and performance * Onboard other teams through integrations and collaborative work, removing friction * Ship features early, collect feedback, and iterate quickly based on user input * Lead task planning, estimation, scheduling, and staffing * Influence cross-team process improvements and engineering best practices Tasks * Proven 6+ years architecting and engineering large-scale distributed applications * Experience building internal platforms adopted across multiple teams at a large company * Ability to drive adoption by doing integrations and removing friction * Experience with production AI-powered applications * Proficiency in one or more object-oriented languages (C#, C++, Go, or Python) * Solid CS fundamentals with data structures, algorithms, multithreading, and cloud programming * Experience with microservices, HTTP/Web services, and modern engineering practices (agile, CI/CD, DevOps) * Ability to work with globally distributed teams * Experience with Kubernetes production infrastructure is a plus * Experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP and managed services (AKS, GKE) is required * Experience with databases (Azure SQL, CosmosDB, Azure Data Lake, MongoDB, MySQL, DynamoDB, etc.) Key requirements * on-site in Denver * competitive compensation * flexible work arrangements * opportunity to work on AI-powered automation at scale * cross-team collaboration * career growth opportunities
