Senior Software Developer

Experteer Overview In this role you will design, develop, and modernize enterprise and operational software to support mission-critical systems. Compensation / Benefits * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze, design, and document technical specifications * Design, deploy, and support a wide variety of applications from standalone tools to complex systems * Participate in SDLC reviews to promote best practices and continuous improvement * Contribute to all phases of testing from unit to integration testing * Perform post-implementation assessments to identify improvements * Monitor system performance against SLAs and align with goals * Adhere to incident and change management processes to ensure reliability * Create documentation and lead knowledge transfer sessions * Develop and maintain tools across multiple cloud environments to drive automation * Mentor junior team members and foster a collaborative development culture Tasks * A university degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field * Minimum 5 years of experience in Java and Shell Scripting; experience in C++, Python and/or Perl * Proficiency in Go, NodeJS, and SQL (Oracle & Informix are a plus) * Experience with monitoring tools like Dynatrace, DataDog or Icinga * Strong Git and CI/CD pipeline experience * Ability to coach juniors and take on senior/architect responsibilities * Solid Linux system knowledge * Experience adopting AI tools and industry best practices to accelerate development * Proven ability to deliver high-quality results under tight deadlines * Experience participating in on-call rotation for production support Key requirements * Flexible and competitive benefits package * Competitive company pension plan * Employee Share Purchase Plan * Performance Incentive Program * Annual Fitness Subsidy * Part-time Studies Program
