Experteer Overview In this role you will design data architecture solutions for secure, scalable environments across cloud, on-premises, and disconnected settings. You will collaborate with analysts and technology teams to address data architecture challenges and guide future development. You’ll translate business needs into robust data pipelines, analytics platforms, and platform architectures aligned with defense and cyber operations requirements. You’ll shape how data drives detection, threat hunting, and automated response within a DoD-aligned security posture. Compensation / Benefits * Design data architecture solutions for cloud computing, managed services, and service-oriented architectures * Resolve data architecture issues in collaboration with business analysts and technology teams * Collaborate on decisions and recommendations for future data architecture development * Analyze data architecture-related business needs and translate them into actionable plans * Support deployment of platforms across cloud, on-premises, and disconnected environments using container orchestration Tasks * 5+ years of experience in defensive cyber operations, cybersecurity engineering, or security platform architecture * 3+ years of experience with SIEM platforms (Splunk, Elastic Security, Microsoft Sentinel, Google Chronicle) * Experience with stream processing and data brokering tools (Apache Kafka, Logstash, Fluentd, Cribl) * Experience designing security data pipeline architectures (log collection, normalization, enrichment, routing) * Experience with data lake and analytics platforms (Databricks, Apace Iceberg, Snowflake) * Experience architecting detection engineering pipelines, threat hunting workflows, and automated response; integrating EDR/NDR (CrowdStrike, Corelight, Trelix) * Experience deploying platforms across cloud, on-premises, and disconnected environments using Kubernetes or Red Hat OpenShift; applying Zero Trust and DoD frameworks * Secret clearance * HS diploma or GED Key requirements * health benefits * life insurance * disability benefits * retirement benefits * paid leave * tuition assistance
