Job description

Experteer Overview In this role you will strengthen distribution reliability within your assigned region and contribute to corporate reliability initiatives. You will work with cross-functional teams to analyze outage and SCADA data, identify root causes, and engineer solutions that minimize interruptions. Safety excellence guides every decision as you manage projects from study through commissioning. This position offers regional focus with opportunities to impact statewide reliability and interact with multiple engineering groups. Compensation / Benefits * perform field investigations to identify root causes of outages * analyze outage management system, SCADA, and metering data to improve reliability * conduct circuit studies and plan protection/coordination improvements * commission and maintain distribution automation equipment and protective relays * coordinate with Distribution Automation, P&C Applications, and Operations Support on device programming and commissioning * develop robust designs and ensure proper protective equipment sizing for upgrades * review outage data for quality assurance and monitor performance trends * provide technical guidance on protection settings and interconnection evaluations * participate in on-call rotations and emergency restoration support Tasks * Minimum 3 years of operations experience in Electric Power Distribution, Transmission, P&C Field Services or P&C Applications * Bachelor in Engineering/Engineering Technology or related field (4-year ABET accredited) * EIT certification is a plus; PE license preferred * knowledge of NESC and distribution operating procedures * ability to work outdoors in all weather and travel as needed Key requirements * competitive base salary * annual incentive program * health, welfare, and retirement benefits * total rewards strategy * bonus/awards potential * relocation assistance
