Software/DevOps Engineer - All Levels

Experteer Overview In this role you will contribute technically to software products supporting Ground Weapons System (GWS) for Missile Defense Agency, operating within a DevOps-focused environment. You will help translate open-ended problems into actionable plans and work on modeling, simulation, and complex software debugging. You will join a mission-driven team delivering critical defense capabilities and have opportunities to shape how software integrates with national security programs. This position supports in-person work in Huntsville, with potential for multiple grade levels based on qualifications. Compensation / Benefits * Provide technical contributions and guidance to software products supporting the GWS capability for MDA * Decompose complex technical problems into actionable plans with defined success criteria * Develop modeling and simulation software or debug complex software systems * Work in a DevOps environment to support continuous integration and deployment * Apply Object Oriented Design, SOLID principles, and software design patterns * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate software components Tasks * STEM B.S. degree from an accredited university * Current active in-scope US Government issued Secret security clearance * Experience with Atlassian tool suite and Git/Bitbucket * DevOps experience * Ability to neutrally assess and decompose open-ended technical problems into action plans * Experience developing modeling and simulation software or debugging complex software systems * Experience with Python, MATLAB, C++, ADA, or Java * Experience with OO design, SOLID principles, or design patterns * U.S. citizenship required for government clearance Key requirements * health insurance coverage * life and disability insurance * savings plan * Company paid holidays * paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business * bonus possibility
