Senior Data Engineer

Experteer Overview In this role you will design and maintain scalable data pipelines and data platforms to support operational and analytical needs. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable data solutions and mentor junior engineers. The role emphasizes governance, security, and data quality, while adopting new technologies to raise development efficiency. You will contribute to the overall data architecture and help shape the company’s data-driven decisions and insights. Compensation / Benefits * Design, develop, and maintain enterprise data pipelines and integrations * Build and optimize ETL/ELT processes for operational and analytical workloads * Develop and maintain data warehouse and data lake solutions in the cloud * Create data models to enable BI, analytics, and predictive modeling * Ensure data accuracy, governance, and security * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ship new features * Evaluate and adopt new technologies to improve efficiency * Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior engineers * Participate in code reviews and contribute to architecture direction Tasks * Proven experience in data engineering or related roles * Proficiency in SQL and Python * Experience with enterprise-scale data warehouses and data lakes * Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud) * Strong problem-solving and attention to detail * Excellent communication and collaboration skills * Familiarity with Agile methodologies (a plus) * Degree in CS/Engineering or related field preferred but not required Key requirements *
