Job description

Experteer Overview In this role you will lead the strategy and governance of the GM Financial Apple ecosystem, focusing on macOS and iOS across the enterprise. You will drive scalable JAMF Pro implementations, ABM integrations, and zero-touch deployment to deliver secure, user-centric experiences. You’ll partner with infrastructure, security, and end-user computing teams to modernize devices and lifecycle processes. This is a hands-on leadership role that shapes endpoint management standards and drives continuous improvement in performance and user experience. You will operate in a dynamic, innovation-driven environment that emphasizes collaboration and enterprise-wide impact. Compensation / Benefits * Design, implement, and optimize JAMF Pro for scalable device management * Oversee Apple platform lifecycle: ABM, MDM (Intune), and service integrations * Lead automation, scripting (Bash/Python), and zero-touch deployment strategies * Manage application packaging, deployment, and updates via JAMF and enterprise app catalog * Guide vendor management and roadmap alignment with Apple and JAMF * Drive Apple device lifecycle management including provisioning, compliance, patching, and retirement * Establish security baselines and integration with identity providers (Entra/Okta) and conditional access * Provide Tier 3 escalation support for complex Apple endpoint issues * Define SLAs, KPIs, and support models for Apple platforms * Mentor engineers and admins; collaborate with VDI, identity, and MDM/UEM teams * Develop metrics, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives for endpoint performance * Lead continuous improvement in device reliability and end-user experience Tasks * 5-7 years in Information Technology * 5-7 years experience with macOS, iOS, Apple Business Manager * 5-7 years experience managing desktop applications * Experience with JAMF Pro administration and architecture * Experience with identity integration (Azure AD/Entra ID, Okta SSO) and conditional access * Strong scripting/automation skills (Bash preferred, Python optional) * Knowledge of security frameworks and endpoint compliance standards * Proven leadership experience guiding technical teams and driving enterprise initiatives * Strategic thinking with hands-on technical depth * Strong problem-solving and incident leadership for endpoints * Cross-functional collaboration across infrastructure and security teams Key requirements * 401K matching * bonding leave for new parents (12 weeks, 100% paid) * tuition assistance * training * GM employee auto discount * community service pay (volunteering pay)
