Compensation / Benefits * Lead enterprise-scale solution design for lending and credit card platforms * Translate business needs into tech designs ensuring performance, security, and scalability * Drive modernization and simplify complex systems * Shape cloud-first financial solutions and integrations * Collaborate across architects, engineers, and stakeholders * Design and troubleshoot APIs and enterprise integrations * Support production excellence and improve operational stability * Mentor engineers and guide architectural direction * Champion best practices and stay current with tech trends * Communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences Tasks * Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent work experience * Minimum 10 years of IT experience with application design expertise * Experience with Financial products (Credit Card, Mortgage, Loans, Deposits) * Experience with consumer financial products focusing on UX, integration, and API layers * Experience with public cloud technologies (Azure/AWS/Google Cloud) including IaaS, PaaS, SaaS * Experience leading multi-team enterprise initiatives across SDLC Key requirements * 401(k) Company Match (up to 3%) * 4% annual 401(k) contribution by BECU * Medical, Dental and Vision * PTO Program + Exchange Program * Tuition Reimbursement * BECU Cares volunteer time off + donation match
