Node.js Developer

• We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Node.js Developer with strong experience in Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) and working knowledge of AWS to support, enhance, and operate our Prospect Services platform.
• This individual will serve as the primary technical point of contact (SPOC) for Prospect Services, working closely with global and regional teams to troubleshoot issues, ensure platform stability, support ongoing enhancements, and drive operational excellence.
• The ideal candidate has hands-on experience building and supporting cloud-native applications on Google Cloud Platform, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to effectively manage stakeholder communications during issue resolution and platform enhancements., Platform Ownership & Support:
• Serve as the primary technical SPOC for Prospect Services across global and regional teams.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve production incidents, platform defects, and integration issues.
• Provide L2/L3 application support for Prospect Services APIs, services, and cloud infrastructure.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Coordinate incident management and communicate status, impact, and resolution plans to stakeholders.

Application Development:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js.
• Build and support RESTful APIs and microservices that power consumer acquisition, registration, and engagement capabilities.
• Write clean, secure, maintainable, and high-performing code following engineering best practices.
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical design sessions.

Cloud & Infrastructure:

Develop and support cloud-native applications on Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform).

Utilize services such as:

• Cloud Run
• Pub/Sub
• Cloud Storage
• BigQuery
• Secret Manager
• Cloud Logging
• Cloud Monitoring
• Support integrations and workloads with an understanding of AWS services and architectures.
• Manage and enhance infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) principles.
• Collaborate with DevOps and platform teams to optimize deployments, scalability, reliability, and security.

Data & Analytics:

• Work with BigQuery to support operational reporting, troubleshooting, analytics, and data-driven insights.
• Analyze application and consumer data to identify issues, trends, and opportunities for platform improvements.
• Support integration of Prospect Services data with downstream reporting and analytics solutions.
• Stakeholder Engagement
• Partner with regional teams across LATAM, APAC, EMEA, and NAOU to address platform-related issues and support business initiatives.
• Act as the escalation point for Prospect Services incidents and technical queries.
• Support major campaigns, consumer acquisition initiatives, and high-volume events.
• Maintain technical documentation, operational runbooks, and support processes., * Serve as the trusted technical owner and SPOC for Prospect Services.
• Rapidly diagnose and resolve issues raised by regional teams and business stakeholders.
• Improve platform reliability, performance, and operational support processes.
• Ensure successful execution of consumer acquisition campaigns and platform initiatives.
• Drive continuous improvements through automation, infrastructure modernization, and cloud best practices.
• Build strong working relationships across product, engineering, operations, and regional teams.
• Primary Focus: Own, support, and enhance the Prospect Services platform while acting as the key technical liaison for regional teams and stakeholders worldwide.

About the Job- We are looking for an experienced Senior Node.js Developer to join one of our enterprise client engagements. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in BigQuery, Node.js, Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform), Cloud Run, Pub/Sub along with experience working in fast-paced enterprise environments., * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.

• 5+ years of experience developing backend applications using Node.js.
• Strong expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript and API development.
• Experience designing, developing, and supporting microservices architectures.
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform).

Experience with:

• Cloud Run
• Pub/Sub
• Cloud Storage
• BigQuery
• Secret Manager
• Experience using Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and management.
• Working knowledge of AWS services and cloud architecture principles.
• Experience troubleshooting and resolving production issues in enterprise applications.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and modern software delivery practices.
• Strong understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

• Experience supporting Martech, CRM, consumer data, or lead management platforms.
• Knowledge of event-driven architectures and messaging systems.
• Experience with large-scale consumer-facing platforms.
