Guidewire Developer

Experteer Overview In this role you will design and implement integrations for Guidewire PolicyCenter Cloud, building scalable cloud integrations and REST-based interfaces. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable deployments, optimize performance, and mentor junior developers. You will contribute to cloud adoption and production support, shaping how Capgemini delivers insurance tech solutions. This is a hands-on position with a clear impact on delivering integrated, scalable policy systems. Compensation / Benefits * Design, develop, and maintain integrations between Guidewire PolicyCenter Cloud and external systems * Build REST APIs, event-driven integrations, batch interfaces, and web service integrations using Guidewire Integration Framework * Develop and customize PolicyCenter applications using Gosu, business rules, workflows, PCF configurations, plugins, and extensions * Collaborate with architects to design scalable cloud-based integration solutions * Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards * Support CI/CD pipelines, Guidewire Cloud deployments, and production issue resolution * Monitor and optimize integration performance * Work closely with business analysts, product owners, QA teams, and stakeholders * Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance Tasks * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field * 6+ years of software development experience * 4+ years of Guidewire PolicyCenter Cloud Integration development experience * 3+ years of Guidewire Cloud Platform implementation experience * Strong expertise in Gosu, REST APIs, web services, messaging, and enterprise integrations * Experience in Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance domain * Exposure to middleware and cloud integration technologies is preferred Key requirements * Paid time off (Vacation 12-25 days) * Company paid holidays * Medical, dental, and vision coverage * Retirement savings plans (401(k) / RRSP) * Life and disability insurance * Employee assistance programs
