Senior IT Director

Experteer Overview In this role you drive the company-wide IT and cybersecurity strategy, overseeing the global IT ecosystem and modernization of legacy systems. You will lead security, risk management, disaster recovery, and compliance while aligning technology plans with business outcomes. Based onsite in Bohemia, NY, you’ll manage cross-site IT operations and partner with business teams on AI and other technology initiatives to support critical missions. Compensation / Benefits * Develop and execute a multi-year strategy aligned with business outcomes and cybersecurity requirements * Ensure reliability, scalability, and performance of IT infrastructure, systems, networks, and applications * Lead security, data protection, risk mitigation, disaster recovery, and business continuity * Lead IT compliance programs including regulatory and customer requirements; ensure audit readiness * Partner with business units to implement AI and other technology projects with proper oversight * Manage multiple projects with risk mitigation and timely execution * Lead ad hoc process improvements and general leadership initiatives * Participate in annual planning, manage budgets, and govern purchases and capital expenditures * Lead, develop, and manage the IT team; set priorities, provide coaching, and ensure necessary resources * Model and enforce company policies and procedures across the IT organization Tasks * Bachelor in Computer Science * 10-15 years IT experience with progressively increasing scope * Prior leadership experience managing direct reports and coaching/performance management * Experience leading cybersecurity projects, risk mitigation efforts, and security roadmaps * Experience supporting or leading audits * Prior experience in manufacturing and/or highly regulated environments (preferred) * Experience with ITAR/export-controlled environments and CMMC Level 2 (preferred) * Experience managing IT operations across multiple sites (preferred) * Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CISA (required) * Any combination of education, training and experience that demonstrates ability to perform the duties Key requirements *
