Job description

Razor is looking for a Junior System Administrator to support the implementation, operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of mission-critical U.S. Government IT systems. This role supports day-to-day system administration across client/server, storage, network, and related infrastructure environments., * Support implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems

  • Manage daily configuration and operation of IT systems
  • Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution
  • Support users in accessing and utilizing IT systems
  • Monitor and troubleshoot client/server, storage, network, and related devices
  • Configure and manage UNIX and Windows operating systems
  • Install and maintain operating system software
  • Configure network components and support system integrity
  • Optimize system operations and resource utilization
  • Perform system capacity analysis and planning
  • Communicate escalated issues and status to internal and Government stakeholders

Requirements

Education & Certification Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university. Five years of additional System Administrator experience may be substituted for the bachelor’s degree.

Clearance Requirements: Active Top Secret/SCI (TS/SCI) clearance required for classified assignments. A full-scope polygraph may be required depending on the specific assignment and access requirements., * 5+ years of System Administrator experience supporting programs of similar scope and complexity

  • Experience administering Windows and/or UNIX/Linux environments
  • Experience troubleshooting IT systems and infrastructure
  • Knowledge of client/server, storage, and networking environments
  • Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to support day-to-day operations in complex IT environments

Desired Skills:

  • Experience supporting DoD or Intelligence Community environments
  • Server and network administration experience
  • System monitoring and performance optimization experience
  • Experience supporting classified systems
