Lead Solutions Architect (Remote)

Experteer Overview As Lead Solution Architect, you shape architecture strategy across multiple domains and align technology investments with business goals. You will guide cross-portfolio decisions, establish standards and roadmaps, and mentor teams to achieve scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions. You act as a trusted advisor to business and technology leaders, driving architectural governance and engineering excellence. Compensation / Benefits * Define and evolve architecture roadmaps and target-state architectures for one or more business domains * Translate business strategy into practical technology strategies and implementation roadmaps * Provide architectural leadership across multiple concurrent initiatives and ensure alignment with enterprise objectives * Evaluate emerging technologies, trends, and vendor capabilities to identify opportunities and risks * Guide architecture decisions across products, platforms, data domains, and shared services * Resolve architectural conflicts and balance cost, risk, complexity, and delivery goals * Lead modernization, platform evolution, debt reduction, and operational resiliency planning * Establish and maintain architecture standards, reference architectures, and design patterns * Lead architecture reviews and governance activities for strategic initiatives * Promote consistency, reusability, security, and ADR-driven documentation practices * Identify and address architectural risks, dependencies, and systemic weaknesses * Collaborate with security, infrastructure, operations, and engineering to align with controls and standards * Contribute to disaster recovery, business continuity, and platform resiliency planning * Mentor architects and engineering teams, fostering technical excellence and knowledge sharing * Partner with product, engineering, security, data, and business stakeholders to align investments with priorities * Communicate complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences * Support portfolio planning, investment decisions, and long-range technology strategy Tasks * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience * 12+ years of software engineering, solution/enterprise architecture, or related leadership roles * Proven success leading architecture across large-scale, cross-functional initiatives * Deep understanding of application architecture, integration patterns, APIs, event-driven architectures, distributed systems, data architecture, and cloud-native design * Experience establishing architecture governance processes, standards, and reusable patterns * Experience designing and governing solutions on modern cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure * Strong understanding of security, compliance, resiliency, observability, and operational readiness practices * Excellent communication, facilitation, stakeholder management, and influence skills * Preferred: experience in regulated industries, mentoring, enterprise strategy influence, frameworks familiarity * Relevant cloud, architecture, security, or integration certifications Key requirements *
