Job description
Key Focus Area :: We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to support a large banking client. The ideal candidate will have strong experience designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines while working closely with development, QA, and infrastructure teams. This role requires hands-on experience with modern DevOps tools and previous software development experience., * Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
- Automate application build, deployment, and release processes.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and infrastructure teams.
- Support migration to GitHub Actions and Harness.
- Troubleshoot deployment and production issues.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and technical discussions.
- Create and maintain technical documentation.
Requirements
- 5 8 years of hands-on DevOps experience.
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD concepts and pipeline automation.
- Hands-on experience with Harness (Required).
- Hands-on experience with GitHub and GitHub Actions (Required).
- Experience with Jenkins and Bitbucket.
- Previous development experience with Java/J2EE or .NET.
- Strong PowerShell scripting experience.
- Experience working with databases.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Excellent communication, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
- Previous experience supporting a banking or financial services client.
- Experience with the Horizon toolset.
- Knowledge of React or Angular.
- Experience migrating CI/CD pipelines from Jenkins/Bitbucket to GitHub Actions and Harness., * GitHub & GitHub Actions (Mandatory)
- 5 8 years of DevOps experience
- Jenkins & Bitbucket
- Java/J2EE or .NET development background
- PowerShell scripting
- CI/CD pipeline automation
- Banking/Financial Services experience preferred
