Solution Engineer - Security

Experteer Overview In this role you will be a trusted security advisor helping customers modernize their security posture using Microsoft’s security platform. You will design secure, scalable architectures and guide deployments across development lifecycles, collaborating with cross-functional teams. You’ll drive technical wins through demos, PoCs, and hands-on engagements, accelerating AI-enabled security solutions. This role offers growth, a chance to influence product direction, and meaningful impact on customers’ security journeys. Compensation / Benefits * Drive technical sales with decision makers using demos and PoCs to influence design and enable deployments * Lead hands-on engagements such as hackathons, code-with sessions, and architecture workshops to accelerate adoption of Microsoft tools and cloud platforms * Build trusted relationships with developers and platform leads to co-design secure, scalable architectures * Resolve blockers and objections by collaborating with engineering to improve products * Maintain deep technical understanding of cloud security architectures and Microsoft security solutions (M365 Defender, Defender for Cloud, Sentinel) * Develop strategies to improve client security posture, tailor messaging for security opportunities, and enhance capabilities for XDR and zero trust * Represent Microsoft through thought leadership in developer communities and customer forums Tasks * Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field with 2+ years in technical pre-sales or technical consulting OR Master’s Degree with 1+ year OR 3+ years in similar roles * 4+ years experience with cloud/hybrid/on-prem architectures, migrations, and technology management * Certification in relevant technologies (e.g., Office 365, Power BI, Azure Architect and Development, Cloud Platform Technologies, Information Security, Architecture) * Authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship * Willingness to travel 25-50% Key requirements *
