Job description

The client is seeking a skilled Java Developer to design, develop, and maintain high-performance enterprise applications supporting manufacturing systems. The ideal consultant will have strong expertise in Java development, Java Servlets/JSP, JavaScript, ExtJS, Oracle databases, Tomcat, and SOAP/REST web services, along with the ability to mentor offshore teams and contribute throughout the SDLC., * Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java applications.

  • Develop server-side applications using Java Servlets and JSP.
  • Build and enhance front-end functionality using JavaScript and ExtJS.
  • Develop and consume SOAP and RESTful Web Services.
  • Work with Oracle 19c databases, SQL queries, and Stored Procedures.
  • Deploy and maintain applications on Apache Tomcat.
  • Participate in requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
  • Lead and mentor offshore development teams.
  • Conduct code reviews and ensure coding standards are followed.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, optimize, and enhance existing applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on new feature development and architectural discussions.
  • Utilize Jenkins for build and release management.
  • Use Git, Bitbucket, SVN, or Perforce for version control.

Notes (Very Important) Please submit only consultants who meet ALL of the following mandatory requirements: Strong expertise in Java, Java Servlets, JSP, JavaScript, and ExtJS.

  • Hands-on experience with Oracle 19c, SQL, and Stored Procedures.
  • Experience developing and consuming SOAP/REST Web Services.
  • Experience deploying applications on Apache Tomcat and using Jenkins.
  • Familiarity with Git, Bitbucket, SVN, or Perforce.
  • Strong understanding of MVC architecture.
  • Proven ability to lead offshore development teams and participate across the full SDLC.
  • Comfortable working 100% onsite in Sunnyvale, CA.
