Senior AI/ML Engineer (SE4)

Experteer Overview In this role you apply advanced AI/ML to support national security missions, designing and deploying neural networks for complex data domains. You will work within a team focused on autonomy and decision-support, translating research into practical systems for the Air Force, Space Force, and DoD. You lead a group of engineers, mentor others, and drive impactful projects from data wrangling to model deployment. This position offers hands-on development at scale with opportunities to shape critical technology used in defense. Compensation / Benefits * Design and train neural networks for diverse applications * Analyze and process multi-dimensional tabular, meta-, and geospatial imagery data * Interpret results against truth data and perform post-processing * Prepare analysis reports and briefings * Collaborate in team settings and work independently * Lead and mentor a team of engineers Tasks * Master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related field * Active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility; U.S. Citizenship * 10+ years of software engineering experience with labeled data collection and NN training * Proficiency in Python, C++, MATLAB, PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras * Experience with satellite imagery, geospatial data, and computer vision * Knowledge of graph databases, vector stores, and large-scale geospatial data * CI/CD, AWS, ML Ops pipelines; data wrangling for NN/transformer training * GNN/Transformer/Vision Transformer experience; LLM/VLM and VQA knowledge Key requirements * 100% employee-owned
