Walmart is seeking a Data Scientist III to advance data-driven decision-making by applying advanced analytical modeling, statistical methods, and machine learning techniques. This role involves developing and deploying scalable models, conducting exploratory data analysis, and collaborating across business functions to deliver actionable insights. • Advanced proficiency in statistical methods, machine learning algorithms, and analytical modeling techniques including Bayesian inference and neural networks.

• Strong programming skills in SQL, Python, and R, with experience in code development, testing, and model deployment.

• Ability to conduct exploratory data analysis, feature engineering, and performance modeling to deliver actionable business insights.

• Experience with big data tools such as Apache Spark for scalable model development.

• Solid understanding of business requirements and domain knowledge across multiple functions to translate problems into data-driven solutions.
