IT Team Leader - General Application

You will lead, organise and develop a multidisciplinary IT team responsible for finance and procurement applications, among others. You will ensure that the team provides maximum value to the organisation, by delivering quality services and developing them in line with the needs of the business. You will foster trusted stakeholder relationships to ensure a lasting alignment and impact. Your responsibilities Leading and developing the team

• Leading, coaching and empowering a multidisciplinary IT team, by creating a collaborative environment focused on ownership, performance and continuous development
• Defining a clear vision and translating business and departmental objectives into actionable priorities

Ensuring the successful delivery of the services provided by the team

• Taking responsibility for the provision of the team’s services and initiatives, by ensuring that the anticipated value is delivered within the agreed scope, budget, quality and time frames
• Ensuring the quality and reliability of the services provided by defining, monitoring and continuously improving key performance indicators (KPIs)

Organising and improving ways of working Structuring and optimising team operations, promoting best practices and supporting the Agile transformation

• Fostering collaboration across teams and ensuring adherence to company standards and processes

Managing talent and building team capabilities

• Supporting the development, performance and well-being of team members through coaching and feedback

Building a balanced and sustainable team by attracting, developing and retaining the right talent

• Building trusted relationships with the business
• Acting as a trusted partner for the business by aligning priorities and managing expectations and change while delivering results Ensuring effective communication and strengthening confidence in IT’s ability to create value

Managing budgets and external resources

• Managing budgets, contracts and external partners within your scope while ensuring the effective use of resources, cost control and long-term value creation

Contributing to project and portfolio management

• Ensuring the successful implementation of the team’s portfolio of initiatives by providing a clear view of progress, risks, issues, dependencies and the necessary trade-offs
• Allocating resources and appointing project managers based on priorities and needs
• Taking overall responsibility for delivering the results expected by the business

• You hold a master’s degree
• You have at least 8 years’ experience of working in IT, including at least 2-3 years’ experience of team leadership, people management, project management or team coordination in a complex environment
• You have experience of leading or supporting multidisciplinary IT teams and managing interdependencies with multiple stakeholde
• You thrive in an Agile environment and fully embrace the principles of that approach You are keen to support and accelerate the Agile transformation of the organisati
• You have experience in finance and ideally in an SAP environment Most importantly, you demonstrate a genuine interest in understanding business processes and applications
• You are a charismatic leader, able to provide clear direction, develop talent, foster collaboration and create the conditions for your team to perform at its best
• You demonstrate a strong sense of ownership and accountability, taking full responsibility for job delivery, service quality and continuous improvement
• You excel in stakeholder management, building trusted relationships and aligning priorities across business and IT tea
• You combine an analytical mindset with the ability to challenge, structure and improve ways of working, while retaining a focus on business value
• You are resilient, pragmatic and comfortable driving change in a large and constantly evolving organisation
• You are fluent in English and either French or Dutch and are willing to further develop your proficiency in the other langua

Within the department, the ICT Applications Division develops, maintains and continuously improves the applications that support Fluxys’ core and corporate processes. The division is made up of three domains: General Applications, which supports non-gas-related activities such as finance, accounting, HR, communication and document management; Asset Management, which supports the life-cycle management of Fluxys’ gas infrastructure; and Gas Flow Management, which focuses on the commercial operation of the network, including contracting, nominations, flow planning, allocation, invoicing and market communication.
