IT Risk Expert (1st line)

Experteer Overview In this IT Risk Expert role, you act as a trusted advisor shaping IT risk and control practices in the 1st line. You will drive GITC governance, coordinate with External Auditors and regional teams, and push continuous improvement in risk controls. You’ll work across IT and business stakeholders to ensure compliant, scalable controls that support innovation. This position blends consultancy, collaboration, and hands-on risk management to strengthen the control environment for secure banking. Pay / Benefits * Act as first contact on IT Assurance and provide expert guidance on risk management and control testing * Advise on IT risk management with emphasis on GITC to improve risk and control processes * Engage with stakeholders across levels to translate input into standards and actionable requirements * Identify issues proactively and work autonomously to drive improvements and efficiencies Tasks * 10+ years in an IT audit or IT Assurance function * Stakeholder engagement experience * Framework knowledge: SoX, COBIT, ISO 27000; familiarity with ISAE 3402 and AICPA SOC reports * Team management and coaching responsibilities * Strong communication skills for conveying framework compliance and testing results * Certifications: RE or CISA a plus Key requirements * Thirteenth month salary * 8% holiday allowance * 10% Employee Benefit Budget * EUR 1,400 development budget per year * Hybrid working * Pension with flexible personal contribution
