Systems Engineer

Experteer Overview In this role you ensure the reliable operation of our IT systems and cloud infrastructure. You optimize performance, manage life cycles, and safeguard data through backups and restore capabilities. You drive adherence to IT policies, security targets, and compliance frameworks while supporting cross-functional projects. You will handle on-call duties and incident responses to meet SLA commitments, contributing to reliable, scalable IT services. Pay / Benefits * Ensure operational stability of IT systems and infrastructure * Maintain and deploy system and cloud architectures to enable business needs * Manage backups, recoverability, and data integrity * Oversee infrastructure life cycle management including OS versioning and hardware refreshes * Ensure compliance with IT policy, security targets, and customer requirements; perform vulnerability scans * Proactively conduct self-assessments and vulnerability scans * Contribute to IT and infrastructure projects and audits * Resolve incidents within SLA lead times * Participate in after-hours on-call rotation; travel to DLR locations as needed Tasks * IT related Bachelor education or 5+ years of experience * Microsoft Certification * VMware VCP (preferred) * 3+ years of experience in an international environment * Experience in a multi-vendor environment * Fluent in English (written and spoken) Key requirements *
