About the Team: We are recruiting for Multiple Solution Architect roles supporting a major digital transformation for a leading global biopharmaceutical client in Barcelona: The Technologies CMC Solution Architecture, end-to-end architecture across Chemistry, Manufacturing & Controls (CMC) workstreams, connecting platforms, Data Products, and governed regulatory workflows, R&D Solution Architecture, hands-on solution design, system integration, and data-flow governance across multi-platform R&D digital initiatives within the TRD landscape. Responsibilities across the team: Translate complex CMC business and scientific outcomes into robust target solution architectures. Define end-to-end application, data, and integration flows across CMC platforms, Data Products, and downstream regulatory systems. Establish clear systems of record, platform boundaries, data-product contracts, non-functional requirements, and compliance controls. Coordinate architecture dependencies and alignment across cross-functional Digital CMC workstreams. Ensure all Digital CMC solutions are reusable, scalable, secure, traceable, and GxP/submission-ready. Maintain cross-initiative architectural coherence

Requirements

among business, scientific, regulatory, and technology stakeholders. Conduct hands-on architecture analysis, solution design, and integration work across R&D digital platforms. Map out clear application, data, and integration flows to ensure seamless cross-team delivery. Author architectural diagrams, decision records, design patterns, and technical implementation guardrails. Define systems of record, integration boundaries, non-functional requirements, and compliance standards across platforms. Facilitate technical alignment and collaboration between R&D digital initiatives and delivery teams. Ensure multi-platform solutions adhere to modern cloud/SaaS patterns and corporate data governance. Requirements(experience with all is NOT essential - if you have experience in any of these, we would love to hear from you) Proven experience as a Solution or Enterprise Architect within pharmaceutical CMC, manufacturing, or regulated life sciences. Deep understanding of CMC processes, laboratory environments, and eCMC/PLM/RIM systems. Strong knowledge of data platforms, integration architecture, data-product frameworks, and cloud/SaaS architectures. Hands-on familiarity with GxP compliance, digital submission standards, and regulated information flows. Demonstrated track record of aligning senior executive, scientific, regulatory, and IT stakeholders to drive architecture decisions. Ability to manage architectural coherence across multiple complex workstreams simultaneously Proven solution architecture experience within pharma R&D or highly regulated life sciences environments. Practical experience working with Laboratory or R&D Data Platforms alongside cloud/SaaS solutions. Strong background in integration patterns and multi-platform data-flow design. Solid awareness of GxP standards and regulatory compliance within digital project delivery. Strong ability to collaborate effectively across multiple parallel initiatives and delivery teams. Nice to have: Prior exposure to or process knowledge of pharmaceutical CMC environments.
