Systems Technician

• Planned and preventative maintenance, inspections and repairs.
• Work across SCADA, communications, fibre optics, traction power, CCTV, radio, PABX, passenger information systems and LV systems.
• Record maintenance and asset information using electronic asset management systems.
• Identify asset deterioration and recommend remedial action.
• Support engineering teams and supervise external resources where required.
• Undertake relevant safety and on-call duties.

• National Certificate in Engineering or equivalent - essential.
• Experience in a systems/electrical engineering environment.
• Experience with SCADA and communications systems.
• Experience undertaking systems inspections and surveys.
• Good record keeping and Microsoft Office skills.
• SAP/asset management experience desirable.
• HNC/Higher in Electrical & Electronic Engineering desirable.
• Rail/tramway safety knowledge desirable.

Training will be provided where required.
