Azure Platform Engineer

Are you an experienced Azure Platform Engineer looking to help shape the cloud platform behind a market-leading software product?

We’re working with an innovative software company looking for a Platform Engineer to take ownership of their Azure environment, ensuring it’s secure, scalable and resilient. You’ll play a key role in maintaining and evolving the cloud platform that supports their product engineering teams, enabling them to deliver new features quickly and reliably.

What you’ll be doing:

• Design, build and maintain the Azure platform.
• Drive platform automation and Infrastructure as Code.
• Manage cloud networking, identity, security and governance.
• Develop and improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
• Monitor platform health, performance and availability.
• Optimise cloud infrastructure for resilience, scalability and cost.
• Work closely with development teams to provide a reliable, secure and high-performing platform.
• Champion cloud best practice and continuous improvement.

• Strong commercial experience with Microsoft Azure.
• Experience building and supporting enterprise Azure platforms.
• Infrastructure as Code experience, ideally Terraform or Bicep.
• Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD.
• Strong understanding of networking, identity and security within Azure.
• Experience with monitoring, observability and platform performance.
• Passion for automation and modern platform engineering.
• Previous experience supporting SaaS or software product environments would be advantageous.
