Senior DevOps Engineer -- Front Office trading support

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you’ll play a key role in supporting and enhancing global exchange-traded derivatives platforms. Working closely with traders, developers, infrastructure teams, and vendors, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the stability, performance, and resilience of business-critical trading systems., * Proactively manage and improve end-to-end trading workflows across production environments

• Ensure platform stability, resilience, and performance through continuous improvement initiatives
• Troubleshoot and resolve incidents across trading applications, market data platforms, and infrastructure
• Partner with development and infrastructure teams to deliver scalable, long-term solutions
• Provide subject matter expertise on trading systems and market connectivity
• Support exchange connectivity, vendor certification activities, and FIX messaging infrastructure
• Monitor and enhance market data distribution platforms and trading technologies
• Participate in a global on-call support rota

Templeton & Partners urgently need a Senior DevOps Engineer with a demonstrated background in Front Office trading support experience and a passion for keeping global trading platforms operating at peak performance?, 6+ years’ experience supporting Front Office trading applications within:

• Commodity Trading firms
• Investment Banks
• Capital Markets organisations

Strong understanding of:

• Global futures exchanges
• Exchange-traded derivatives trading life cycle
• Order capture, execution, allocation, settlement, and compliance processes

Hands-on technical experience with:

• Python, PowerShell, C#, SQL, or similar programming/Scripting languages
• Application deployment and production support best practices
• FIX Protocol engineering (3+ years)
• Exchange and vendor certification processes
• OMS/EMS platforms such as TT, Bloomberg, NYFIX, TradingScreen
• TCP/IP, Multicast networking, and messaging technologies

Highly Desirable

• Real Time market data distribution platforms (RTDS, DACS, ADH, ADS)
• Bloomberg, Refinitiv, and other market data vendors
• Liquidity aggregation platforms
• Time-series analytics technologies including kdb+, Shakti, or similar
• Algorithmic trading environments
• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as RTS6
