UX Designer - DV Cleared

Experteer Overview In this role you will shape the user experience for a next-generation Defence Intelligence platform, delivering user-centered designs for mission-critical systems. You will work within an agile, multi-disciplinary team on secure, cloud-enabled capabilities, translating complex operational workflows into intuitive interfaces. Your work supports secure decision-making, traceability, and user trust while aligning with governance and accreditation requirements. This is a mission-driven opportunity to influence how operators interact with critical intelligence workflows. Pay / Benefits * Conduct user research with operational users, analysts, task managers and stakeholders * Facilitate workshops to map current and future workflows * Create user journeys, service blueprints, wireframes and interactive prototypes * Design intuitive workflows for task management, collaboration, information sharing and feedback * Collaborate with frontend/backend engineers to ensure feasible designs * Develop and maintain design patterns and component libraries * Support user testing and iterate based on feedback * Translate complex operational requirements into accessible experiences Tasks * UX design experience in MOD/Defence or secure environments * Strong user-centred design including research, synthesis, interaction design and prototyping * Experience with military, civilian and technical stakeholders * Advanced proficiency in Figma or equivalent tools * Experience designing workflow-driven apps/dashboards/operational systems * Knowledge of accessibility and inclusive design principles * Experience in agile, multidisciplinary teams * Current DV Security Clearance * Onsite MOD London four days per week * Experience delivering in MOD/Defence/National Security contexts * Comfort with OFFICIAL-SENSITIVE and classified material Key requirements *
