Job description

  • Administers and implements new systems or changes to the technology infrastructure with minimum disruption to supported systems.
  • Supports training for technicians on vulnerability remediation, patching and updating, as well as general desktop maintenance, if necessary.
  • Assists in taking proactive ownership of core ITIL processes including change management, incident response for data center assets, and problem resolution.
  • Attempts to provide high availability (99.9%) when completing vulnerability remediation whether planned or unplanned outages.
  • Exhibits the credit union’s seven service standards promoting a culture of welcoming all and putting people first whether they are a member or a coworker.

In this hands-on role, you’ll lead patching and vulnerability remediation efforts, collaborate across IT teams, and continuously strengthen our security posture.   • Security+, Cisco or Microsoft, or SANS certificates strongly desired.
  • Working knowledge of Cisco networking, UCS, and Microsoft O365, Active Directory and Azure desired.
  • Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) knowledge.
  • VMware ESXi experience is preferred.
  • VMware vCenter, Backup and Recovery experience is recommended.
  • Desktop Server OS experience is highly desired.
  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Ability to process complex information, analyze and solve complex technical problems.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work and work accurately under pressure.
  • Excellent time management skills with ability to organize and prioritize work and work accurately under pressure.
  • Ability to work irregular hours including nights, weekends and holidays if needed.
  • Must be bondable.
